Friday Special

Next Friday 12^th October…..

An opportunity to come along and learn/practice the Mayfair Quickstep, a popular Ballroom Sequence Dance, based on the Quickstep:

Wednesday classes

The 2nd Wednesday of each month is held at Downley Guides & Scouts Hall – Ladies, please note you will not be allowed to dance in spiked heels as this may damage the floor.  We recommend dance shoes for all classes, no trainers or flip flops, etc.

Practice Nights

Don’t forget you need to practice your dancing, whatever your level…if you would like a practice session, please ask and we will book the hall.    This is a brilliant opportunity to gain confidence for a social dance or event, or simply to reinforce what you have learned in class.   Cost is £7.00 per couple.

Social Dances

Reminder – our next social dance, for Halloween,  is at Piddington on Saturday 27^th October:

• Cost:  £6.00 per person if ticket bought in advance, £7.00 at door
• Time:  8.00 to 10.30 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to come along, this is a social event and a great opportunity to meet new friends, watch other dancers and enjoy your dancing!

Prize Raffle Draw

We are now running another prize raffle draw for a private lesson, the draw will be at the next social dance on 27th October.  You may purchase tickets at £2.00 each (whether you attend the dance or not).  The more tickets we sell, the more private lessons will be in the draw….Colin won the latest prize draw, and there were extra prizes won by David & Pauline, Robin & Moira and Andy.
