We are situated a short drive from High Wycombe, Stokenchurch, Marlow, Bourne End,
Wooburn Green, Hazlemere, Aylesbury, Princes Risborough, Beaconsfield, Maidenhead, Henley.

Do I need a dance partner?

Yes, you will need a partner to attend all classes, as we are generally unable to provide a partner in class.   However, we quite often have dancers – male and female – who are looking for a dance partner, please contact us for details.

Can I attend classes if I am 16 years old?

You need to be over 18 to attend any of our classes.

What should I wear?

Clothes and shoes that are comfortable – shoes are the most important item.  Trainers are not recommended, unless they are dance trainers.   The ideal shoes are ballroom dance shoes, however if you do not have ballroom dance shoes it is best if you wear shoes that are light and flexible, preferably with a sole that does not grip too much.   Ladies will find that a heel will help the dancing, spike heels are not permitted at any of our venues.  In general, no trainers, boots, sandals, as these could injure your feet and ankles.

If you are a regular dancer it is best to buy dance shoes. Dance shoes will improve your dancing and are also better for the floor. It is safer if the man wears a softer, more streamlined shoe, especially for those advanced figures!
